First step to getting ready to activate student emails would be to download your student info from My Data (at the LAUSD website). Choose current students, classroom info, and there will be a link for student email information towards the top of the page. You can export the information (into an Excel spreadsheet). Delete unnecessary columns (like your own name) enlarge the fonts for ket data (like student email addresses and PINs), and print out this information.

Pass out the individual rows to each student, have the students copy their information onto their cheat sheets, and have students glue their cheat sheets into their agenda or somewhere where they'll be able to refer to it throughout the year.

This is a great way to reinforce the concept of responsibility for your students. Remind your students they need to be responsible with this information. They'll be needing it all year long.
